Deep muscle toning, Back Strengthening, Postural awareness, Core stability and Inch Loss.

 

Pilates – Group Matwork Pilates Classes are run  on Tuesday at 11am. All levels welcome. Pre-booking required as limited places. Missed classes can be made up.  First class FREE.

All Back in Balance Pilates classes and 1-2-1 sessions are run by me, Caroline McCord. I am passionate about how transformative pilates can be. I have seen over many years of teaching what a difference regular pilates practice makes to both physical and mental wellbeing.

​

I first started practising Pilates in the early 1990s, following a diagnosis of premature arthritis in both hips. In 1998, I trained with the Pilates Institute in London and, over the past 20 years, I have undertaken extensive additional training.

​

I recently qualified as a Women’s Wellness Specialist, focusing on mid-life health and the menopause, osteoporosis and bone health, the prevention of stress incontinence and the improvement of pelvic floor function. In addition, I am qualified in pre and post-natal Pilates and a Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist with the Pink Ribbon Programme.

Having completed a course in Pilates for MS and neurological conditions, I now have a number of one-to-one clients with Parkinson’s, MS and Stroke conditions.
